Fundraising for Komen

Plan an Activity, Promotion, or Social Event

We are humbled to be contacted so often by passionate members of our community with a sincere desire to organize an event or promotion benefiting breast cancer awareness and research.  These “Do It Yourself” events extend Komen’s reach into the community and we are enthused to support your efforts with breast health information and educational materials for an even greater impact.

Getting Started

Step 1:
Complete a Fundraising Event Request Form  or email us. This form captures pertinent details about your event and will be reviewed for approval by our staff within 24-hours. Once your event is approved, Komen will add your activity to our web-based Events Calendar and begin supporting your efforts in any way we can.

Please note that you may not begin promoting your event until you have a signed agreement

Step 2:
Carefully read our fundraising Guidelines. This is an extremely helpful tool with information to help maximize the success of the event.

Step 3:
Complete and sign  the Komen North Jersey Affiliate Letter of Agreement Application.

Pass The Plate. Limited-edition designs. Unlimited generosity.
The recipe is a snap: make a meal, serve it on KitchAid’s uniquely-marked Villeroy & Boch plates, and share it with someone special. That person then keeps it and passes it on to the next. The best part is once your plate is registered, each recipient can add to the plate’s journey, and KitchenAid will add to the donation total. For every person who registers their plate, KitchAid will give $5 to Susan G. Komen North Jersey.

Come back often to read your plate’s story as it’s passed from place to place and person to person.
