How to Apply for Community Grants

Thank you for your interest in the Komen North Jersey Affiliate Grants Program. The following items are available to assist interested parties with our grant making process. They are not intended or authorized for other usage.

The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2017, Komen North Jersey is investing in 11 local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment support projects for the medically underserved in nine Northern New Jersey counties. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today. Our Affiliate is proud to have contributed more than $7 million toward research and grants to date.

Applications will be accepted for breast cancer screening, diagnostics, treatment support, and education, providing service in at least one our nine counties (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, or Warren) starting mid-September 2017 for the fiscal year April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019. Projects that must target at least one of our priorities outlined in the 2018 -2019 RFA.

All requests for science research funding should be directed to the National Susan G. Komen® Grants Program. More information on research funding is available at
